Just In Time Roofing & Construction wants everyone to be able to use QuoteCheck, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology.

If anything on QuoteCheck is hard to use, tell us and a person will help. We can go through your proposal with you by phone, send your results by email in plain text, or take your details over the phone instead of the online form.

We aim to reply within two business days.

Our standard

We design and test QuoteCheck to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. In practice that means:

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link.
  • Every form field has a label, and errors are announced and explained in words.
  • Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background.
  • Nothing is said with color alone. Your DealScore, for example, always has a number, a label and an icon as well as a color.
  • Pages reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged, without sideways scrolling.
  • Your device’s reduced-motion setting is respected.
  • Our emails have a plain-text version and describe every image.

Pages are checked with automated accessibility testing on every change, and by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader.

Larger text
Makes all text 25% bigger.
High contrast
Darker text, stronger outlines and a heavier focus ring.
Reduce motion
Stops animations and transitions.
Underline links
Underlines every link, so none depends on color.
More text spacing
Adds space between lines, words and letters.

What we know is not perfect

  • The proposal you upload is a photo or a PDF made by someone else, and we cannot make it accessible. Your Snapshot gives you what it says as text instead.
  • If QuoteCheck is shown inside another website, that website’s own pages are outside our control.

If you find a barrier we have missed, please tell us using the phone number or email above. We treat accessibility reports as defects to fix.
